About 26 years ago, while living in Poughkeepsie, NY, I attended a Harry Chapin concert at Vassar College’s Chapel.
Early into the concert, Mr. Chapin stopped playing and announced that there had been a bomb threat and we all had to leave the chapel. With GREAT disappointment, we all went outside into the rain and figured the concert was over. Was I ever delightfully surprised and filled with admiration when Harry Chapin continued the concert right there, outside, AND in the rain.
He was a man dedicated to his fans and I shall NEVER forget him.
