I only got to see Harry Chapin once in the early 80’s at Hamilton Place in Hamilton, Ontario.
I went on the recommendation from a girl I worked with that his concerts were fun because they were interactive.
My girlfriend and I bought “cheap seats” as Harry Chapin called them up in the second balcony. Even though we were so far from the stage it was still really fun because of the way he encouraged audience participation.
The highlight of the night was when he stayed behind to sign autographs and we got our pictures taken with him.
I’ve never ever been to another concert like it.
