I live in Europe. Though I like all kind of music, I had never known Harry Chapin.
Some time ago, while playing a bridge tourney online with an American partner, he asked me: “By the way, what kind of music do you listen to…. and have you ever listened to Harry Chapin’s songs?” He then asked my address in Europe, and told me Harry was a friend of his. Some days later I received a parcel from Wisconsin. I was astonished: there I could really find some cds.
I’ve fallen in love with Harry Chapin’s personality and his songs. Will always be grateful to who introduced me to Harry.
I don’t believe I will ever meet my bridge partner in real life. But I do believe we will meet, Harry, Joe and me sometimes, somewhere over a rainbow.
