My name is Cori Brantley and I am 24 years old. I was born in 1982, a year after Harry passed away.
I never got the honour to meet Harry Chapin, and I wished I had. I would of loved to let him know that his Corey came, not long after he left. My mother heard the song on the radio one day when she was pregnant with me, and immediately knew that I was meant to be named Cori. I wish that I could let the family know, that Harry’s legacy not only lives on in people who were alive during his time period, but also in people who are now old enough to recognize the importance of his songs.
